Blogging service – (Sponsored review)

When I wanted to start with blogging, I was not sure if I would have enough time to blog or have enough interesting things to say.
So to keep my personal investment to a minimal, I went on a search for free blogging services. After the first encounter with the platform, I found out that I much rather have some impact on the design myself… that’s why I currently have my blog up with, who give you enough freedom to toy around.

But unfortunately for other similar like minded people, has stopped adding people to their community.

But anybody who wants to start with a minimal payment impact, there is an alternative… it’s called It isn’t exactly a WordPress environment, but you will be able to post your daily chit chat without any problems. offers even more then just free blogging, you can also upload photos and videos and you will be able to set the privacy level ( everyone, friends or family ). But to be honest, it does look a lot like the MySpace or Live services.

So I don’t know if we really need another social blogging clone, but if you like this approach and you are still looking for a free service… could be a good suggestion. So follow following link to Create Blog.

  1. Depechie, I was also paid to review thoughts. I wouldn’t recommend the site to anyone. The moderator offered to pay for my air fair to Vegas where his wife would kick my butt. It was also reported that the site has spyware.

  2. That’s funny Rose. I’m a member at Thoughts. Apparently the moderator you speak of has nothing to do with the site and is no longer a moderator over there. Appears this was a member who had been given moderator responsibilities and later went off the deep end. I’m actually a Web technician, and I’ve never detected any spyware. In most cases, people get spyware from other sources, then happen to notice it when on a different site.

I personally love Thoughts and think the community is one of the most active on the Web. They actually do take their top bloggers on a trip to Vegas every year. The video on their site looks great. I was actually skeptical that it was some kind of catch-22, but according to the other members who went, it was the time of their life. Rock on Thoughts! And no, I am not the owner and was not paid to write a review 🙂 I just think it blows away the other free/paid blogging sites out there.
